Fantastic photoshop drawing of Kurt Cobain (and music) by Williams Shamir. As in many of the speed painting videos, you will see the technique of building up colour is used. To create this effect use a brush size appropriate for you drawing, reduce the hardness but also reduce the transparency of the brush (this can be found in the panel running along the top of the photoshop interface when you have the brush selected). To make it easy to edit and delete areas of colour use the layers pallette to seperate layers of different colours or areas within your drawing.

This speed painting of Luke and Obi-won Kenobi from Star Wars is one of the best I have seen. Cgsbgs manages to recreate the star wars figures as if it were a photograph.
