The anime art and colouring is by ishthuytaokkay. The shading is superb, but my favourite part of this video is the glowing / floating heart effect at the end.

This anime drawing by zephyronx shows a good technique of adding colour and then returning to add the highlight and shading at the end. Adding all the light and dark areas at the same time should help you to get the shading right by keeping in mind what angle your light source is coming from.
